In January-June 2024, the revenue of hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan increased significantly, reaching 265.7 million manats, which is 26.9% more than in the same period last year.

According to the information from the State Statistics Committee, the main income was generated by room services, which accounted for 60.7% of the total, followed by catering services with 27.1%. An increase was also noted in the use of one-time capacity of hotels, especially in Shabran, Naftalan and Baku.
